Invento Capital Partners together with partners HAMAG-BICRO, European Entrepreneurial Network, Commercialization reactor and EIT Urban mobility gathered 65 startups, investors and those interested in innovation and connecting with new partners and the community of professionals in the field of urban mobility. In the presentation of Iva Špoljar Šarić from HAMAG-BICRO, the focus was on the Enterprise Europe Network and EUREKA and Eurostarts projects, which are interesting for entrepreneurs interested in partnerships on the international market. Among other things, the free matchmaking event Smart Mobility Valencia has been announced, where partners can be found online at direct meetings to apply for a project or a desired collaboration.
On the True story about investing in startups panel, Ivan Mrvoš (Include), Dušan Jelić (BIOTA and Magic Forest), Mislav Javor (DEV3 and AMPnet) and Mladen Herceg (mobilityONE) shared their rich experience with everyone present.
Invento brought to Croatia the already well-established system of connecting experienced entrepreneurs with scientists and launching deep-tech startups. Anton Adamovitch from the Commercialization reactor explained the details of the open call for the Ignition event and the previous preparation of the Ignition Qualifiers, and invited entrepreneurs to apply regardless of their previous experience with scientific solutions.
Demo day gave 7 startups the opportunity to present themselves in front of more than 10 international investors, and the jury included Božidar Pavlović (AYMO ventures), Stevica Kuharski (Fil Rouge Capital), Jan Debets (Business Angels Europe), Kristijan Škarica (Wespa Spaces) and Ivana Čuljak (Invento Capital Partners) shared 4 awards together with the partners of the meetup. Funderbeam chose BOTZBIKE with an offer to prepare a Funderbeam campaign, which is a prize worth €3,500. Invento Capital Partners will help the GoGreenGeeks team to find their way to the market and the necessary finance for "Smart Management of Indoor Cultivation" with a two-month mentorship. Wespa Spaces awards startup ROLLA with coworking, and arrangements to demonstrate their solution will follow. Everyone who pitched (BOTZBIKE, GoGreenGeek, ROLLA, BioBlok, Matterless, Gepek and Polygon Balkans Hub) was rewarded by Avant2Go with registration and free rides.
Electric vehicles partners - BOTZ, Rolla, prof. Tomislav Capuder from FER and Avant2Go; who made electric cars, Croatian-made romobiles and small electric bicycles available to the attendees. This is precisely how "liveable" mobility in our cities can look like.
